Schools
ReLeaf works with public and private schools to plant native shade trees on their grounds. Completed Schools projects include Petaluma and Casa Grande High Schools, Petaluma and Kenilworth Junior High Schools, and Miwok, McDowell, McKinley and Old Adobe Charter Elementary Schools. As of February 2024, we have planted 295 trees at Petaluma Schools.

Case Study Example: McDowell School and Park
ReLeaf helped the City of Petaluma write a $20,000 grant to plant 125 native shade trees on the grounds of McDowell School and Park. The funder is a partnership of Healthy Babies/Bright Futures and the Mayor’s Innovation Project. (see Press page). We have completed the planting of 85 trees for Phase 1 of McDowell School and Park!
